Sappington’s Obliteride Team Raises More than $6,500 for Fred Hutch
SEATTLE (August 17, 2016) – Sappington raised more than $6,500 for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center through the 2016 Obliteride fundraising and cycling event. This is the third annual Obliteride event and Sappington’s second year participating.
Sappington’s CEO, Tim Goggin, who often commutes by bicycle to the agency’s Pioneer Square offices, led a company team in the 2013 inaugural Obliteride event. Goggin plans to continue the tradition of Sappington’s participation in Obliteride.
“We believe in the work of Fred Hutch and are excited to participate each year in raising money for cancer research,” said Goggin.
Next year, Sappington plans to raise $10,000 and support even more employees in riding the event.
