Sappington Participates on Obliteride Team That Raises More than $60,000 for Fred Hutch
SEATTLE (August 17, 2017) – Sappington participated in the 2017 Obliteride fundraising and cycling event on Team Skanska, led by Skanska’s Kevin McCain. More than 2,000 riders participated in Obliteride this year. Funds raised through the biking event support Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
Team Skanska raised more than $61,000. This is the fourth annual Obliteride event and Sappington’s third year participating. Other companies participating on Team Skanska included Whitepages.com, PAE Engineers, and MacDonald Miller.
Sappington’s CEO, Tim Goggin, who often commutes by bicycle to the agency’s South Lake Union offices, is committed to supporting Obliteride well into the future. “We believe in the work of Fred Hutch and are excited to participate each year in raising money for cancer research,” said Goggin.
